Ghee recipes

Ghee recipes are commonly palatable. The uniqueness of Ghee as a cooking ingredient is widely responsible for its contributing palate. Besides the high smoking point of Ghee, its creamy texture, nutty aroma, and ghee nutrition are the other factors for making Ghee as a cooking oil so precious.

Wide varieties of ghee recipes are available across the world. One of the chef’s favorite cooking oil uses Ghee for making spicy and sweet dishes.

You can use grass-fed cow ghee for an exclusive and flavorsome taste in daily and exotic gourmet cooking.

Ghee, the premium dairy product, is a nutritious and flavorsome alternative to cooking oils or butter. It improves the taste and texture of food when added as cooking fat, as a seasoning, or as a taste enhancer. Besides its culinary use, Ghee is famous for multiple nutritional attributes essential to various body functions, from the brain to the natural boost of the human immune system.

Ghee is widely used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines. It’s deliciously flavorful, enriched in nutritional benefits, and empowered with the feature of versatility in cooking all kinds of recipes from global cuisine, further increasing its use as a cooking essential. Thus, coming out of Asia, Ghee is now a household name all over the world.

Try Ghee instead of regular cooking oils or butter to make your favorite ghee recipes. For best results, use high-quality Grass-fed or Organic Ghee.

Ghee recipe:What is Ghee?

Ghee, the Indian clarified butter, is produced by boiling cow milk in unsalted butter until nearly all the moisture evaporates and milk solids, not fat (residues), separate. The traditional Indian method takes the process a step further. It cooks a little longer to caramelize the residual milk solid.

This process provides the ghee’s characteristic nutty taste, caramelized aroma, and golden color. Ghee has a slightly granular, buttery texture, which makes a ghee recipe flavorsome with a creamy mouthfeel.

Ghee has not less than 99.6% milkfat and not more than 0.3% moisture. Ghee’s high fat and low moisture content provide a long shelf life. Thus, Ghee can be stored under ambient conditions for 12-18 months without refrigeration.

Ghee is rich in healthy fats and fat-soluble vitamins. Moderate consumption with an active lifestyle conveys several health benefits. Moreover, Ghee contains almost no lactose and casein. Therefore, it is safe for individuals suffering from dairy allergies. It is Keto and Paleo-friendly.

Ghee recipe: The taste of Ghee:

Ghee has a nutty taste, buttery texture, and pleasantly creamy, slightly caramelized aroma. It is in semi-solid consistency at room temperature.

Ghee recipe: How to use Ghee?
  • Ghee is a healthy, shelf-stable, flavorsome, versatile, and nutritious replacement for regular cooking oils (vegetable oil, coconut oil) and butter. Ghee has a much higher smoke point (482 degrees F) than regular cooking oil (400-450 degrees F) or butter (350 degrees F). Thus, it is a better option for high-temperature cooking, frying, baking, roasting, or sauteing.
  • It is excellent for seasoning rice, roasted veggies, popcorn, etc. When added to any recipe from world cuisines, Ghee enhances the overall acceptance of that food.
  • Use just as a spread on morning toasts.
  • It is a great option to make bullet coffee or smoothies for a high-energy drink.
Ghee Recipes: Nutritious and flavorsome

Apart from the culinary advantages, the nutritional benefits and therapeutic properties of Ghee’s healthy fats and fat-soluble vitamins are increasing its use among health concerned consumers. High-quality Grass-fed or Organic ghee is the best option to buy and incorporate into your regular diet plan. Try Milkio’s grass-fed and Organic Ghee range to make your favorite recipes.
