  • Raw apple cider vinegar-1 Tbsp

  • Ghee 1/2 cup, melted and room temperature
  • Extra virgin olive oil-1/2 cup
  • Sauerkraut juice -1 Tbsp

Ghee mayonnaise recipe: instructions

  • Take a small pot of water and place it against medium flame.
  • Allow the water to a simmer.
  • Now warm a small glass measuring cup with 1/2 cup of ghee until the ghee gets fully melted.
  • Keep aside the measuring cup with the melted ghee and allow it to cool off to room temperature.
  • Now add the olive oil to the measuring cup and make a mixture of 1 cup of olive oil and melted ghee.
  • Now place ingredients like egg yolks, apple cider vinegar, salt, cayenne, sugar, and Dijon mustard in a food processor and blend for 1 minute.
  • Switch on the food processor and pour the melted ghee and olive oil slowly in a steady stream. Keep pouring unhurriedly until the entire cup is merged and you can create a thick emulsion.
  • Add 1 tbsp sauerkraut juice as your last step and blend gently to include.
  • Allow the mayo to sit at room temperature in a small fermentation jar for 7 hours. After that, you may place it in the fridge.
  • This mayo will stay intact for up to 1 month with freezing support.
