Pasta with ghee is an exception to Italian cuisine. Pasta is from the Italian food genre and in the Mediterranean region, olive oil is more popular as cooking oil.  But recent popularity of ghee as a cooking oil has inspired culinary enthusiasts to try ghee for cooking pasta.

It is not a whimsical fascination. Rather, Pasta with ghee cooking has some logic behind it.

  • Ghee offers loads of nutrition, which makes ghee a nutritious cooking oil. When you are preparing pasta with ghee, you are attracting all the ghee benefits in your favor.
  • Ghee offers a high smoke point. No matter whether you are using roasting or baking your past with ghee, it is safe dairy oil you can simply trust. Ghee’s 485 degrees Fahrenheit smoking point is higher than olive oil’s smoke point.
  • Ghee offers a nutty aroma, which is pleasing enough. So, when you are pairing ghee with pasta you are adding a more pleasant flavor to your pasta recipe, which is good to eat.
  • You can store ghee at room temperature for longer than olive oil. However, in comparison to olive oil for pasta, ghee is a convenient option for chefs and homemakers.
