Ghee store temperature is an important part of ghee storage. If you have to store ghee for a longer time intact at room temperature, you have to maintain a store temperature.

  1. Usually, an unopened ghee jar can be kept at room temperature for 12 months from its date of manufacturing, and if you have selected pure ghee, you don’t need to keep the ghee jar in the fridge.  For ghee storage, you should follow the instruction of the ghee manufacturer and you can check it from the ghee label.
  2. Ghee store temperature matters once you open the ghee jar. You can keep the ghee jar in a dry and dark corner of your kitchen shelf.  Overexposure to heat or moisture may harm the shelf-life of the ghee in the jar.
  3. Other than the storage temperature of ghee, you should check for ghee purity.  If you have purchased an all-natural ghee product, where there is no adulteration, the ghee will stay shelf-stable for a long span of time.
