Can ghee be frozen? Yes, ghee can be frozen. It is best to store it in an airtight container or freezer bag to prevent any freezer burn. When ready to use,  you may thaw it in the refrigerator, or please allow it to sit at room temperature before using. Ghee can be stored in the freezer for six months or more, depending on the manufacturing date.
