Milkio uses only pasture-raised, grass-fed butter for producing grass-fed ghee. The butter is made from the milk fat from the cows, raised on predominantly pasture grazed method and fed on grass, grass-silage, and forage crops.

Grass-fed cows are not treated with antibiotics and hormonal medicines. Hence, the grass-fed milk, these cows produce, is free from the residues of antibiotics and hormones.
